Let’s face it, giving away stuff is fun. And so is receiving stuff! That’s why these promotions are such a hit, not only with our customers and fans but with our staff. I catch members of the team looking at our social media, seeing how many likes or comments we’ve received from a particular post. And when we do a promotion that garners attention – you’d think they won the lottery!
Our Brand New Promotion & Giveaway
And after the fun we had with our Valentine’s Day promotion, we thought we’d do something soon – but mix it up a bit. We wanted to do something that rewarded effort. Here’s how it works.
- Write a Facebook post about your experience with CBD. It doesn’t have to be about our products, though it can be. It can be about anything, really.
- If you’ve never tried CBD, tell us why, and what you’d hope to gain from using it.
- Tag us! @GreenMountainHempCo (There are two old company pages that we lost access to and Facebook refuses to take them down! Ugh!) Be sure to write out that exact tag or we won’t see your entry.
- You don’t have to but should include a photo.
- Your post must be public.

- You can post multiple times… but please don’t post too much and annoy your friends. That will make people hate you AND us!
Now, here’s where it gets fun
For each and every like, share and comment you get on your post – you get one entry into the giveaway! We’re going to do all the number crunching, and three of you will receive a $100 gift certificate, either to our online store or store in St. Albans, VT. This encourages you to do creative or fun things in the name of CBD. Show people how you use it, or tell a story, or… the sky’s the limit!
Here’s an example
Let’s say you put up a great post, with some cool photo and a fun story. That post gets 74 likes, 12 comments, and 3 shares. You get 74+12+3=89 entries!
Everyone that plays can use the discount code fun10 to save 10% off anything they buy, but only during the promotion, which runs until Midnight, March 9th, 2019. (Eastern time)
Limitations
Obvious attempts at gaming the system (posting the same thing multiple times, commenting on your own posts excessively, etc) will disqualify you. We’re trying to make a fun game out of sharing all the wonderful things people use CBD for. Don’t be lame 🙂
Winners
We’ll crunch the numbers on the posts over the weekend and get back to people the following week. We’ll reach out by Facebook Messenger and post something on our Facebook page, too.
